Letzte Woche war wieder Gadget Day =). Diesmal hab ich mir den neuen Xbox Controller gegönnt und zwar den mit dem „neuen“ D-Pad. Nach dem ich den grünen Verpasst habe (da war ich noch zu geizig) hab ich nun zugeschlagen, Bilder gibts nach der Pause.
Last Week was Gadget Day =). This time i bought the new Xbox Controller with the new super cool transformable D-Pad. I missed the green one with the improved D-Pad, because I was to cheese-paring so i must get it this time. Pics after the break
Ein eindeutiges Urteil kann ich aber nicht abgeben, mir gefällt das neue D-Pad richtig gut, vor allem bei Street Fighter 4 macht es sich richtig gut, aber und dass finde ich sehr wichtig, ist die Verarbeitung des Controllers nicht die beste. Die Lackierung ist wirklich anfällig für Kratzer und ich gehe wirklich vorsichtig mit ihm um und das D-Pad „klappert“ egal ob in welchem Modus ich es habe, es klackert und klappert. Für fast 60 Euro (mit Play&Charge Kit) hätte ich in Sachen Verarbeitung mehr erwartet. Ein bisschen Gewöhnungsbedürftig sind auch die Tasten. Sind sie nicht mehr in den bekannten Farben sondern in grau stufen. Richtig ätzend ist das in Spielen, wo nur angezeigt wird, welche Farbe man drücken soll und nicht welche Taste. Ok ok irgendwann sollte man die Farben auswendig können, doch nach einer längeren Pause von der Xbox fällt es mit schon ab und zu schwer =)
Kaufempfehlung? Das kann ich euch nicht beantworten.
So what the heck about it, is it cool or not? Well I really couldn’t go on one side. I like the new D-Pad it´s great on Street Fighter 4, but and this important, the quality of the controller is not the best. The paint is very sensitive for scratches, I really deal with care. And the D-Pad makes some noise it is chattering, no matter in which modus I have it. Well for almost 60 Euro (with Play&Charge Kit) I would expect more quality. The buttons are also a bit confusing. They are not coloured in the standard Xbox Controller Colours. So when you play a game, which shows the colour instead of the button it´s odd. Ok ok you should know the colours by time =).
Is the controller a must buy? I don´t know….
